Tehran is willing to restart nuclear talks with Washington as long as it is treated with "respect" and "honor", Iran's foreign minister has announced.

The Iranian diplomat declared solely negotiations worked, and revealed new appeals had come from go-betweens to restart negotiations with the US government. He asserted Iran did not have unreported enrichment locations, and Iran could not yet permit the International Atomic Energy Agency to inspect attacked atomic facilities for protective measures.

Navigating a Challenging Route

Araghchi is walking a difficult path since Iran aims to avoid appear to be operating from a stance of vulnerability, and he consistently maintained that Iran had arisen more powerful defensively and emotionally from the Israeli-US attack on its enrichment centers in June.

He was addressing at a strategic meeting in Tehran where he reaffirmed that Iran had "an inalienable right to refine atomic fuel domestically that it will always maintain" – the primary cause of the impasse in the prior discussions.

Previous Negotiations Suddenly Terminated

The previous five rounds of discussions between the United States and Iran were concluded unexpectedly and bitter termination on 12 June when the Israeli government, with US support, targeted Iran's enrichment centers in a two-week conflict that culminated with Donald Trump claiming the sites had been eliminated. Subsequently, European countries exercised their authority to reinstate global restrictions, but Iran asserts they have not had a major impact.

Ideal Resolution Suggested

Iran's diplomats stated they felt they had reached a "magic solution" to the enrichment issue in earlier negotiations, when it was settled an domestic cooperative with Washington's engagement could enrich uranium. Each party would have been able to declare success since domestic enrichment would have remained and the US could be confident that Iran's enrichment initiative was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been decided in the talks that US nuclear scientists could function inside Iran, but that was a natural consequence of the partnership suggestion. Officials stated three times they had achieved a deal with the US representative Steve Witkoff only for the arrangement to collapse due to "opponents in the US".

Current Status

Tehran representatives declared the cooperative arrangement was now withdrawn, but it seems highly likely the proposal could be resurrected in certain ways if discussions reopen.

The US president in recent days claimed he had been getting signals that Iran wanted to reopen negotiations, but privately Iran's diplomats claim they are not yet obtaining consistent overtures from America either explicitly or from key regional mediators, such as Qatar, the Egyptian leadership, the Omani authorities and the Saudi kingdom. The Tehran's diplomatic corps has been accused of passivity in the aftermath of Trump's direct instinctive approach, but Iran asserts diplomacy is not part of a performance.

Negotiating Stance

In his address to the forum, intended to paint the US as a dominant force that misuses the idea of global regulations, Araghchi stated the fortnight-long engagement demonstrated the dispute could not be resolved by combat operations. He said the attacks commenced with a Washington's ultimatum for an unconditional Iranian surrender and concluded with an absolute demand for a truce.

Iran is convinced the initial Israeli attacks were mounted with complete American awareness and collaboration, making confidence challenging to rebuild.

Diplomacy Remains the Final Answer

Araghchi declared: "Tehran was not the one that had fled diplomacy; it was America and the European states that had repeatedly attempted to enforce their will during the discussions. Diplomacy can still be active and stays the ultimate resolution to address disagreements, but its requirements, guidelines and fundamentals must be adhered to."

"In case they speak to the nation of Iran with the language of respect and respect, they will receive a response in the equivalent approach."

Recovery and Rebuilding

In what is portrayed by Tehran representatives as the struggle of recovery and rebuilding, the foreign minister said he was certain Iran's defence capabilities "have significantly improved than prior to 13 or 14 June of this year. Every aspect of our defense have been rebuilt. We acquired many lessons from this conflict; we have discovered our internal vulnerabilities and the vulnerabilities of the adversary."

He stated: "We successfully passed this engagement. Our atomic expertise, which they planned to eliminate, continues to exist. The sites and gear, if destroyed, will be restored; what is important is the resolve of the Iranian people and then the national cohesion that they sought to undermine, but were unable to shatter. The Iranian people have become stronger, more integrated, and more endorsing of the leadership and the nation in the aftermath of this invasion."
