British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
